Ridgeside Centennial Logo & Celebration Branding

Ridgeside Centennial Logo & Celebraion Branding

In honor of the City of Ridgeside‘s 100th anniversary (1925–2025), the town’s mayor and commissioners partnered with Dazu Creative to design a centennial logo that celebrates the community’s rich history, identity, and charm.

The resulting design features a mosaic of green-and-white iconography, with each square offering a symbolic “snippet” of Ridgeside’s past and present. From a swimmer representing the beloved Dolphins swim team to rolling hills and a radiant sun evoking the town’s geography and warm spirit, every element tells a story. You’ll find images of historic milk cans from the town’s dairy farm days, a golf hole referencing its early mini-golf course, and a candle for the neighborhood’s cherished holiday luminaries. There’s even a double-heart motif tucked within a silhouette of Tennessee—symbolizing Chattanooga and the independent heart of Ridgeside nestled on Missionary Ridge.

Dazu Creative designed not only the logo but also banners displayed throughout the town. Each banner features the full centennial logo on the front and a zoomed-in highlight of a specific symbol on the back. During the celebration, residents showed their pride by purchasing and wearing custom-designed t-shirts and sweatshirts featuring the logo.

This project blends visual storytelling with civic pride—capturing 100 years of community spirit in one timeless design.
