Places we like to Shop
Steph here, these are some of my favorite places to shop in the whole world!
There’s this boutique and gift shop in Bern, Switzerland called Fizzen. I like to go there every time I’m in town.
It’s hidden in an alleyway in the center of the city. You walk down a couple of side streets close to the train station to get there. There’s a few fountains and cobblestones streets along the way. That’s one of my favorite things about the city, it’s so quaint. Their clothing is very unique, and they sell brands which I haven’t seen elsewhere.
They also have many vintage one of a kind pieces. It’s hard for me to find things that fit well, since I’m petite. But that’s probably a good thing as I would buy out half the store if I could!
I also love their accessories and decorations. My favorite place to buy clothes is a market in New Delhi, India. It’s called Sarojini Nagar Market. You can find designer clothes that are factory rejects, made at factories in the area. Many of the clothes are missing tags or sizes, but for me that is partly where the appeal lies. I’ve found some of the most unique pieces there, and you never know if they’re designer clothes or not. Since you only paid $5 for them it doesn’t really matter anyways. Out of everything I own, I get the most compliments on pieces I picked up there. Hoping I’ll get a chance to go back soon! There’s also this store called Monki that they have in Europe. It’s similar to H & M but has more unique clothes. My favorite one that I went to was tucked away in a neighborhood in Berlin. It’s affordable, but some of their clothes are even organic. They have a lot of comfortable and cute pieces, which is what I look for most in fashion.
