Things we Need Before Designing your Site
Here at Dazu Creative, we like to get a substantial amount of background information before we can start on your new site design. We send our new clients a questionnaire that has details they can fill out about their business.
Typically, this will include questions about your brand, such as the aesthetic, target customer, and market you are aiming to reach.
All of these things can be extremely important to consider for both for the functionality and design of your website. One of the most crucial questions to ask in the beginning, before creating your site, is what is your purpose behind your brand? What do you hope to do with your business within the next couple of years and how does your site play into that? Do you need a full scale e-commerce site, or a simple site with e-commerce options? Or do you need a simple site with a landing page and a few other pages with basic information? In the beginning phases we start with market research and helping you to gather inspiration. We like to consider who you’d like to reach, who your competitors are, and what you like or don’t like about what they are already doing in the marketplace. Through market research we are able to identify the important characteristics we should hone in on in the creation of your site. We look at what type of content we’ll help you create to carry out your site unto completion.
If you already have a logo or brand guide then that can simplify the process. If you don’t, then we can create one for you, as well as help in the creation of your site. We’re here for as little or as much help as you need through the process.
